about me

I graduated from Glasgow School of Art with first class

honours then completed a post graduate in ceramics in

1990. Since then I have worked on numerous art

education projects and, while my three children were

young, ran a pre-school nursery. I now make ceramics in

a workshop at my home in Renfrewshire.

I make functional and decorative earthenware ceramics

for the the home. Coloured slip decoration, printed

decals and glaze are applied in layers to create a playful,

collage like quality. Each piece is fired up to three times

to 1080 degrees centigrade in an electric kiln.
